Painting has always been a passion of mines, so of course I share that love with my children. We paint to be creative, to have fun and to be pro active. I found painting to be relaxing in my experience ver the years, so naturally I incorporated painting into our weekly activities.
Since being quarantined, we have began to include other forms of art into our lives. We tackle DIY projects and we make our own toys, furniture and decor pieces around the house. Being creative is great for the brain and I encourage my kids to be as imaginative as possible. Arts & Crafts gives us that space to imagine and create.
Being quarantined gave me the time and opportunity to explore my creativity even more. It gave me the patience to start a project that may take a while to complete. It plotted time for me to have trails and eras, and time to fail and try again. This opened up my creative side like never before. Imagine being able to create anything you wanted without any limits on time. You’d be surprised as to what your mind can come up with.
Autumn and I have separate projects that we work on, but we also create many things together. It gives us a perfect time to bound and create memories with one another. We record and share our Arts & Crafts videos in order to showcase how fun and inspiring painting, designing, or building can be. We hope to inspire others to open up to their own creative side and even to share the gift of Arts & Crafts with others.
